New & Returning Players:
Registration for the 2014 season for all minor divisions (Mite, Atom, Pee Wee & Bantam) will be held in June, check back around Mid-May for additional information.
Information for New Players – Conditioning Camp begins in July and regular practices begin in August, with games starting end of August/beginning of Sept until October/November. The fee/player for 2014 will be determined prior to June – fee includes all equipment, uniform, field rental fees and conditioning camp. Players need to provide mouth guard and football cleats. Practice schedule/game schedule will be determined based on field availability and is not determined until late July, but usually practices are three nights a week with one game on the weekend. Football Nova Scotia is excited to announce TEAM NOVA SCOTIA will be competing once again in the 2014 U18 Football Canada Cup held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (July 3-12). They will also be sending a TEAM NOVA SCOTIA to the 2014 U17 Wilson Challenge in Montreal, Quebec (July 5-13) and the 2014 U16 Red River Cup in Winnipeg, Manitoba (July 11-21). As a member of TEAM NS, the players will have an opportunity to play with Nova Scotia’s top athlete and compete against some of the top athletes from across Canada.

The policy outlines in a clear and transparent fashion the criteria and process involved in athlete selection for TEAM NOVA SCOTIA. The process will consist of three (3) phases; Provincial Identification Combine, Training Camps, Provincial Team training and development and finally the selection of the Travel Team.
The U16 Provincial Identification Combine & Training Camps, will consist of four (4) sessions:
- February 8 – Identification Combine from 8:00 am to 11:00 am (Onsite Registration & Check-In from 8:00 am to 9:00 am & Testing from 9:00 am to 11:00 am)
- February 22 – Training Camp from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
- March 8 – Training Camp from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
- March 22 – Training Camp from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Location: All events will be held at the East Hants Sportsplex, 1076 Hwy #2, Lantz, NS
Cost: The cost for the Provincial Identification Combine & Training Camp is $100
Registration closes at 6:00 pm on Friday, February 7th
